ఈ ప్రపంచంలో నన్ను ప్రేమించే వీరు అన్ని –

మార్గాల్లోనూ నన్ను పట్టి ఉంచాలని చూస్తున్నారు.

ప్రభూ! నీ ప్రేమ అట్టిది కాదు,

అది వారి ప్రేమకంటే గొప్పది.

నువ్వు నాకు స్వేచ్చనిచ్చావు.

నాకు గుర్తులో వారు నన్నెప్పుడూ ఒంటరిగా వదలలేదు,

రోజులు గడిచిపోతున్నాయి కాని నీ దర్శనం మాత్రం లేదు.

నిన్ను నా ప్రార్థనల్లో పిలవకపోతే,

నిన్ను నా హృదయంలో నిలపకపోతే,

నీ ప్రేమ నాకోసమింకా ఎదురుచూస్తుంది.

By all means they try to hold me secure who love me in this
world. But it is otherwise with thy love which is greater than
theirs, and thou keepest me free.
Lest I forget them they never venture to leave me alone. But
day passes by after day and thou art not seen.
If I call not thee in my prayers, if I keep not thee in my heart,
thy love for me still waits for my love.
